Welcome to the home of the Tulsa Youth Hockey Association (TYHA). TYHA is a non-profit organization dedicated to growing the sport of youth hockey in the Tulsa metropolitan area. We welcome youth up to 18 years of age. TYHA supports 3 hockey programs within the scope of the association.

Our In-House Program is for athletes in the Mini Mite (2001+ birth year), Mite (1999-2000 birth year), Squirt (1997-1998 birth year), and Peewee (1995-1996 birth year) age groups. Beginning with the 2007-2008 season this program is known as the Junior Oilers. TYHA has initiated a relationship with the Tulsa Oilers of the CHL, and look forward to jointly growing the sport of hockey beginning with our youngest athletes.

Our High School Program is for athletes in the Bantam (1993-1994 birth year), and Midget (1989-1992 birth year) age groups. We currently have four teams: Broken Arrow, Comets, Jenks, and Union. Each team fields both a Junior Varsity and Varsity Roster.

Our Travel Program fields teams in the Mite, Squirt, Peewee, Bantam, and Midget age groups and they play other travel teams in the North Texas Hockey league, as well as various other teams through tournaments around the country. This program is currently known as the Tulsa Flames. With TYHA’s new affiliation with the Tulsa Oilers, the plan is for this program to transition to being known as the Oilers Select Travel Program for the 2008-2009 season.
