Annual TJO Christmas Give Back

As the holiday season approaches, we are excited to share some wonderful news about our upcoming Christmas Give Back Party Night on December 15th. This annual event is a cherished tradition for our hockey family, and this year, we are rallying together to support a cause close to our hearts—the Reed Foundation.

Coach Reed helps underprivileged kids (age 4-12) in North Tulsa, where he - free of charge - takes care of over 70 kids regularly after school and all day in the summer months. He and his team mentor them, help them with school, run them through consistent workouts, and instill discipline into their lifestyle. Coach Reed also is the transportation at any time for our School of Hockey program. Check out the most recent news feature around Coach Reed.

Why do we do this for Coach Reed?

Coach Reed supports our School of Hockey program through transportation to anything that helps the enrichment of our program. Our program aligns with his focus on physical fitness, life skills, financial wisdom, and positive vision for the future – and he is always selflessly available to help. He works with the kids off-ice each week while instilling manners and respect! He is amazing and helps so many kids through his foundation! We want to help him keep his transportation running and expanding!

Here are some exciting details about our Christmas Give Back Party Night:

Christmas Giveback Shootout: Similar to a rock-a-thon, participants can gather sponsors for every puck they shoot. All donations from this event will go directly to the Reed Foundation.

Ugly Sweater Contest and Skate: Join us on December 15th from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm for a festive evening of skating. Mention that you're there to support the Reed Foundation and enjoy the festivities for a $10 admission fee (skate rental included). Feel free to invite friends and family to join in the fun!

Silent Auction and Games: We have prepared amazing baskets for a silent auction during the skate, providing an opportunity to take home some fantastic items just in time for Christmas. Door prizes, games, and a great time await everyone.

Raffle: Stay tuned for details about our upcoming raffle. The winning team will receive a special prize for selling the most tickets.

We are grateful for your support for The Reed Foundation, and we encourage you to contribute to this heartwarming cause. Donations can be made via Venmo (@TJO-Tulsa), with "give back" in the memo. Alternatively, cash or checks can be placed in an envelope marked "give back" with your name and dropped in the black mailbox upstairs at the rink, just outside the TJO office.
