2020 Spring Training 8U-10U & 12U-16U

2020 Spring Training Program 8U-10U & 12U-16U

The Governor recently unveiled his Open Up & Recover Safely (OURS) plan. In the plan Sporting venues will be allowed to open for players to practice starting May 1st should they follow cdc guidelines on social distancing and proper sanitation protocols. The current plan is to allow organized sporting events starting May 14th; again given measures for social distancing and cdc guidelines are followed. This will allow players to have at least 2 weeks before they can technically compete in front of spectators. There will be detailed guidelines for different sectors on our OKCOMMERCE.GOV website; including guidelines for sporting arenas and entertainment venues.

Guidelines for Spring TrainingĀ as set forth by the OIC, City of Tulsa and State of Oklahoma: May 4th through May 14th

  • 15 player max on the ice at one time. This means we will have as many sessions as necessary, with each session not to exceed 15 players (goalies included).
  • Players will keep a 6 ft distance when in line on the ice.
  • Players will keep a 6 ft distance during drills.
  • Players are to keep a 6 ft distance when waiting before and after practice, to and from ice session.
  • Players are encouraged to get dressed at home, put skates on at the rink.
  • Players must bring their own water bottles to the bench before practice. Not bringing a water bottle will warrant no water for that practice (sorry we need to do this). Players will spread out 6 ft when getting water, taking shifts if necessary.
  • We will revealuate the schedule as we go for May 16th and on. We have scheduled out the entirety of Spring Programs. Rest assured, we will reschedule if needed depending on gov orders and instructions.
